Born in Detroit, Gregory Moore has had a widely varied career in music, theater and opera. He sang for several years with The Metropolitan Opera and The New York City Opera, Los Angeles Music Center Opera and many others. In 2007, Moore formed his own 12-piece, 1930's-themed jazz orchestra, "Gregory Moore and his Cosmopolitan Orchestra," which is based in New York City. He was awarded the first "Dorothy Loudon Cabaret Award" at the 2008 Mabel Mercer Foundation Cabaret Convention at Lincoln Center's Rose Hall. He has written and performed several "tribute" shows to 20th century music legends, including Russ Columbo and Arthur "The Street Singer"Tracy, which premiered at the Bruno Walter Theater at Lincoln Center, followed by two runs at Jermyn Street Theatre in London, co-starring with noted cabaret singer/pianist, Steve Ross. In 2017, Gregory Moore premiered his new show, "Mulligan & Moore, Vegas, '55" at New York's Metropolitan Room, which features many of the songs Noël Coward performed at his legendary concert series at Wilbur Clark's Desert Inn, Las Vegas, Nevada. Moore wrote/directed/narrated and performed the show (which is well-represented on YouTube) with the brilliantly-accomplished pianist, Simon Mulligan (his partner as "Mulligan & Moore," a two-man musical team).
