Glenn Fernandez is the son of Daniel Fernandez and Gloria Fernandez. He was born in Alexandria, Louisiana. Glenn spent the early years of his childhood studying the piano and cello. Later, he moved to Italy to study opera singing with the great soprano Patrizia Zanardi. Upon returning to the United Sates, Glenn Fernandez started his performance career as an opera singer before working in film and TV.Hailed by the Los Angeles Times as having a "lovely voice," Glenn Fernandez is known for having the ability to repeatedly sing very high notes with little or no warm-up. This gave him the reputation of having "vocal cords of steel" among his musician colleagues during his music training in Los Angeles. While performing as an opera singer in California, he branched out into other areas of entertainment: TV, film, and musicals.Glenn Fernandez's transition into acting has been aided by his unique ability to morph his skill set into almost anything that is needed at the time; in fact, he has been seen doing martial arts, sword fighting, doing gymnastics, waltzing, performing modern dance, playing the piano, playing the cello and much more on stage and screen.
