Giselle was born in New Jersey during a blizzard in the 80s.She is of Cuban and Spanish descent, and speaks Spanish fluently.She attended The University of Southern California for her Master of Professional Writing degree. During her time there she served as non-fiction editor for the university's literary journal and was elected senator of the writing department at the Graduate Student Senate.Studies aside, she has written for various magazines and digital media outlets: Latin Times, Latin Trends, The Little Seed, Flea Market Style, and The Biz; associate produced with two award-­winning independent film companies, Gashouse Films and Harrington Talents Studios, and traveled internationally as an anti bully advocate with Teen Truth Live.In addition, Giselle is a scholarship recipient of the New York State Summer Writers Institute.
