Giovanni Frezza was a cute blue-eyed and blonde-haired child actor who popped up in a handful of enjoyably gruesome Italian horror pictures made in the early to mid-1980's. Giovanni was born on September 8, 1972 in Potenza, Italy. He made his film debut in Le saut dans le vide (1980). Best known for his substantial starring role as the imperiled Bob Boyle in Lucio Fulci's supremely creepy La Maison près du cimetière (1981), Frezza's other memorable movie parts include archaeologist Christopher Connelly's son Tommy Hacker in the dreary La malédiction du pharaon (1982), a spunky inventor and mechanic in the entertainingly trashy post-nuke sci-fi action item Les nouveaux barbares (1983), and a persecuted little boy in the nifty giallo murder mystery thriller La maison de la terreur (1983). Giovanni's final film appearance was in a small uncredited part at the very end of Lamberto Bava's outrageously gory Démons (1985). Frezza has a black belt in Kung Fu and a degree in Physics. He's the happily married father of three children. Giovanni lives in Chicago, Illinois and works as a marketing manager for an electronics company. Show less «
