Gina was born and raised in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. An innate writing ability won her first poetry contest at Holy Family private elementary school before turning 7 years old. Following, she went to Nazareth High School. The assumption her love of story-telling and exploring imaginative possibilities were meant for play forced her through NHS and a college education at James Madison University. Here, she majored in Media Arts and Design, concentrating on print and online journalism.Post JMU, Gina moved to NYC where she worked in fashion and product placement at Blue Stripe PR firm. She left the city that never sleeps to further a PR and possible fashion-writing career. Gina got acquainted with Los Angeles through a post-grad intensive writing certificate program in Entertainment and Film. During which, Gina was on set fulfilling the responsibilities of make-up artist for the filming of a Boston University commercial when her professor requested her assistance to step in as an actor.Agreement led her persistently forward. After modeling for a friend and photographer, Gina's desire to explore the possibilities of acting and modeling overpowered the post-grad expectation of a fashion-related business career. She began studies at Lesly Kahn & Co, where her passion for study grew naturally. A more intense and inspired drive mixed with positive feedback made her decision simple to commit to an acting career.Diving in brought learning lessons, experiential gain and acting career catalysts: In the last year, Gina has done multiple print and online modeling campaigns for a jewelry line called Dakini Designs as well as Malibu Spray Tan. She's gotten commercial work, played the role of the lead actress and love interest in a music video soon to debut, and an AFI short student film where she had the opportunity to explore the imagined possibility of being Marilyn Monroe. Most recently was a small acting part in a PSA, "Helping Parents to Rock," with Jack Black and Tenacious D. The comedic skit aired on ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live! and continues to air as a preview in movie theaters nationally. Show less «
