Gigi Wolfe was born in Goshen, Indiana, on October 6, 1994, and lived in Syracuse and Winona Lake before moving to Manhattan Beach, California. Since her relocation, she has been involved in various theatrical performances, cutting her teeth on Shakespeare and musicals.She has appeared in two separate productions of Disney's Aladdin as the Genie, as well as playing Hades in the first-ever stage adaptation of Disney's Hercules. A few of her other roles include King Arthur in Spamalot, the Sheriff of Nottingham in Robin Hood, and Miss Hannigan in Annie, which she received advice for playing the role from Carol Burnett herself. She was awarded Best Actor for her performances in Annie, Oklahoma!, and Into The Woods. She was invited to join a local theater company at its inception and stayed with them for five years, working for them as a teacher's assistant afterwards for a year and a half. She names Joaquin Phoenix and Helena Bonham Carter as her biggest influences and inspirations.Along with acting, Gigi is also an author, writing under the pen name Jinx. Her debut novel, Spook, which she self-published in 2016, was featured from January 6, 2016 to July 23, 2017 on the popular writing site Wattpad, where it has gained over 220,000 readers. Its sequel, Dearly Departed, was released in 2017. The third book in the series, Haunt, was released in August 2018. The fourth book, Dearly Deadly, is set to be released fall 2019. In December 2018, the first three books in the Get Spooky series became best sellers, all of them hitting Amazon's Top 100 list. Out of over 100,000 entries, her other work, Vicious Vile Venom, won in Wattpad's 2016 Wattys in the category New Voices. Her book, Mr. Macabre Presents, made to on the 2018 Wattys Shortlist. Her short story, Me Vs The Mile, won Amy Poehler's Yes! Moment contest sponsored by HarperCollins Publishers and Wattpad. In June 2019, she accepted an invitation to join Wattpad's elite Stars program. In December 2019, she unpublished the Get Spooky series and made it available exclusively on Wattpad.
