Gerry is a classically trained actor with a knack for nuance and complexity. A Former Marine and Mixed Martial Art Fighter who has maintained his physical ability, Gerry prides himself on the vulnerability and empathy of his characters with a skill at finding the organic comedy hidden within scenes. A late-comer to performance art Gerry began actor training at the age of 31 while attending the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He was accepted into the Professional Actor Training Program at the University of Louisville only two years later working with artists such as Paul Carter Harrison and Dennis Krausnick. After a two year stay in New York Gerry returned to Louisville and performed in 4 to 6 plays a year for the next ten years. In addition to performing in Classics from Shakespeare, Ben Jonson and Christopher Marlowe, Gerry also worked on stage in modern plays from Woody Allen, Sam Shepard and Tony Kushner. 2017 began his transition into film and television actor training. In less than two years Gerry has been in over a dozen short and full length films, worked in 2 SAG/AFTRA projects and shared scenes with David Arquette, William Mapother, Bo Derek and Jon Voight.
