Germaine Braithwaite was born Germaine Marie Ward in 1981. She grew up in a quiet village known as Higher Walton,and growing up she decided to follow in the foot steps of her famous pianist ancestors, so because of this, she studied performing arts and acquired many LAMDA awards. She furthermore achieved a degree in business studies and accounts. However, never felt at peace until she started working the acting industry, as she believed that was the correct track to be on.
