Gaye grew up in Oklahoma City, OK and began her professional acting career performing at Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma in roles such as Sally in Me & My Girl and Magnolia in Showboat. She earned her MFA in Acting/Directing at the University of Arizona and then headed to Chicago, finding professional roles in both well-known and original works such as Into the Woods, Rumors and the world premiere of Hans Brinker. After digging her car out of the snow one last time, she moved to sunny LA and fell in love with improv. Gaye is a bang. and ImprovOlympic West alum and played in popular bang. shows "RPS" and "Lurlene" amongst others. She was on staff as a teacher at bang. for many years and also directed shows such as Amalgam's "Funeral for a Friend" and the long running "Ka-Blam! Improv Samurai." You may remember her face from appearances in national commercials for FedEx, Starbucks, Progressive Insurance and Bank of America. Gaye's most recent appearance has been in the recurring role of Gloria on "The L Word: Generation Q". In her off camera time, she loves working out, singing in her church choir (she's a trained soprano), cheering on her son at his baseball games and traveling with her family.
