Gabriella (Gaby) Santinelli was born in Manhattan, NYC, to an Italian father and Irish/English/German mother. Her parents met as apprentices at The Woodstock Playhouse, toured as folk duo, then went their separate ways: acting & bluegrass banjo dad; classical soprano mom.Gaby was raised in Paris, New Jersey, Ohio, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont and The Catskill Mountains in Upstate NY. She won Theater Scholarships to attend Interlochen Arts Academy and Northwestern University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Performance Studies from The School of Speech.Further studies include the Practical Aesthetics Workshop and an Acting Apprenticeship with W.H. Macy, David Mamet and The Atlantic Theater Company and advanced Meisner Technique at The Actors' Temple, London. She joined Screen Actors Guild while acting alongside Jessica Lange and Halle Berry in Stephen Gyllenhaal's Losing Isaiah.After graduating from Mannes School of Music (NYC) with her Master's Degree in Voice Performance, Gaby moved to London, UK, where she worked with legends of stage, screen & sound for 15 years: Andrea Bocelli, Simon Callow, Alexandre Desplat, Marianne Faithfull, Colin Firth, Daniele Gatti, Iain Glen, Jonathan Kent, Stewart Lee, Martin Lowe, Cameron Mackintosh, Sir Paul McCartney, Howard Shore, Richard Thomas, Tom Waits, John Williams, Robert Wilson and Michael Winterbottom.While living in the UK, Gaby became a dual US-UK Citizen, and won an Olivier Award (=the "British Tony Award") for Best Supporting Performance in the world premiere of "Jerry Springer - The Opera" at The National Theatre & West End. In 2013, she relocated back to America, and resides in the Hollywood Hills, where she continues to sing, act, write, and coach her fellow actors in Acting & Accent Integration(TM).
