Born in Cuba, Frank Vidal came to the US while still a baby, as his parents fled from Fidel Castro's Communist regime in the 1960's, and established the family in Miami. Growing up between Miami, FL and San Juan, PR, Frank was an avid movie fan since a very early age, acting in (and often writing) plays, comedy sketches, mock trials, and short films throughout his school and college years, sometimes as part of his responsibilities as a student, and often just for personal entertainment. After graduating from college, he went to Dental School and became a dentist, profession which he has practiced for over 20 years. But as middle-age approached, and always feeling that something was missing from his life, Frank decided to pursue his true passion much more decidedly. After moving to Houston, TX, he studied screenwriting and acting, taking classes with veteran actors like Deke Anderson, Mallie Jackson, and Flavia Rocha.Since 2010, Frank has been associated to multiple projects, including the short film "Ancillary."Frank has also written full-length screenplays, like "Turn" and "Whatever the Fall may bring".He is fluent in Spanish and English. His ethnicity includes Spanish, French, and Belgian roots.
