Fiona holds a Master's Degree (with Distinction) from California State University, Northridge (June, 2004). She also has a degree in Broadcast Journalism from California State University, Los Angeles (June, 1993).Fiona's grandfather is the subject of a book: "District Inspector John A. Kearney of the Royal Irish Constabulary" written by Donal J. O'Sullivan, which talks about her grandfather's life and involvement with Ireland's freedom, while working for the crown as an RIC officer (meeting with Roger Casement, while vainly trying to secure his release, as well as meeting and working with Michael Collins). Her grandfather is also mentioned in Sir Casement's writings and correspondence exists to John Kearney from Michael Collins.Fiona has written a screenplay on her Grandfather's life, which coincides with these two historical figures in Irish history while all were involved with the fight for Ireland's freedom, two were killed and one banished from his homeland forever (her grandfather). She uses some of her grandfather's own writings and personal family history to tell this factual story. Show less «
