Felix Jerry Droz was born in the great lake State. While his grandparents remained in L.A. both his parents moved from Los Angeles to Farmington Hills shortly before he was born. He was raised by his Mother and Father and had three sisters and left Michigan after being expelled during his last year of High School for not conforming to the school's rules and regulations . After being kicked out of School and while still a teenager he briefly moved to Venice, California then settled in Santa Monica not far from where his parents had lived and completed his last year of School by getting his general education diploma or G.E.D . While hitch - hiking up to Big Sur, California one day he met a couple of students from the University of California at Santa Barbara who gave him a lift and invited him to stay at their apartment in, Isla Vista when they returned . After visiting there he soon took a love of Santa Barbara County and moved from Santa Monica up to, Isla Vista and lived both on, Camino Del Sur & Del Playa Street known for its heavy weekend parties which ran along and above the Ocean . While in, Isla Vista he attended a junior college in Santa Barbara and worked as a house painter while going through School to make ends meet . After college and with his love of the water he joined the Navy and became an advanced electronics technician while stationed in San Diego, California . He never got as far as six months in the military after wanting out and was soon found to be unadaptable to military life . Before being discharged he was sent to spend two short days in the brig but the Navy was still good enough to give him an honorable discharge . After getting out he moved back to Santa Barbara where he has always & forever made his home town. Show less «
