Lipe Viana was born in Macaé, in the State of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. In 2000 he moved to the capital city of Rio to pursue a modeling career but he soon realized that this was not his true aspiration. Nonetheless Lipe decided to hire his first agent and began auditioning for commercials and magazine editorials.In 2001 Lipe embarked on studies at the Centro Universitário da Cidade for a degree in Drama. He steadily continued to book small roles in commercials and theatre plays. During the years that followed Lipe fell in love with the craft of acting. He dedicated most of his time studying and training while working in theatre, film and television.Five years later Lipe put his acting career on indefinite hold and decided to commit all of his time and energy to social service, meditation and yoga. This decision ultimately lead him to move to Dharamsala, India for several months.In May 2007 Lipe arrived in Canada at the Okanagan College in Kelowna, British Columbia to study for a Human Service Work Diploma. He continued to work with Social Services while learning about Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities and Psychology.Wishing for a change in direction Lipe moved to Vancouver in 2009. During that same year Lipe attended the 2nd Brazilian Film Festival which kindled in him the desire to take his acting career to the next level. In 2015 Lipe created the comedy web series "Standardized" about an aspiring actor who sees a variety of speech therapists in a frustrating attempt to get rid of his accent.
