Farrell Thomas was raised in Farmington, - then, a small town near the Colorado border, in NW New Mexico. While there he attended Hermosa Jr. High, scoring big points helping the girl behind him cheat in Mr. Bedfords History class. Next attending Farmington High School, (home of the Scorpions) and graduating in 1988. While home during summer break, in his college days, Farrell worked for a time at the local Browns Shoe Source, on Farmington's Old Town Main Street, just prior to landing his first big screen role in North (1994).
