Ewald Tienkamp is a Dutch actor, born in Alkmaar, The Netherlands. He grew up in a four person family comprised of his parents Paul and Marjo, and sister Ilse. Up until adulthood he lived in different cities in the northern half of The Netherlands, and found a home in Utrecht, The Netherlands in his late teens.While he did attend classes on singing, dancing and acting on stage as a young teenager, and got a little taste of life on set as a background extra, he did not actively pursue a career in acting until about fifteen years later.In the second half of 2014, Ewald once again visited film and TV sets as a (featured) extra. In early 2015, in order to pursue a more serious career as an actor, he entered a half year course on acting for the camera at Theaterschool De Trap in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, which he completed in September 2015.
