Esther Canata is a singer/songwriter,recording artist and actress of stage and screen.Esther has studied voice with voice coach to the stars, Don Laurence and has been writing and singing since she was just 5 yrs old. As an artist,she has performed in various music projects hitting the stage of famous music venues from NYC to LA such as The Knitting Factory ,House of Blues,The Viper Room and The Roxy .As recording artist and songwriter,she has collaborated with producers such as Jimmy Harry (Pink,Kylie Minogue,Kelly Clarkson) Tommy Coster (Eminem), Grammy Award-winning Andy Heard (AKA Fanatic) , Anthony Krizan (Spin Doctors), Irish producer, Skully (Sony producer/publishing UK), Goldi (Goldishack Guerillas) and film score composers such as Angelo Milli (7 Ppounds), Frederik Weidman (Hellraiser: Revelations),and Mark Garcia(Ovasen Productions).Esther has had a publishing deal with BMG in Stockholm ,Sweden, has placed her songs in various film and television projects and has sold and licensed her songs to huge library archives such as the Weinstein Co. She is a current member of ASCAP as a songwriter and publisher.Esther is also an accomplished stage actress hailing from NJ and NYC. Having studied at the prestigious William Esper Studio in NYC and in masterclass with William Esper,she also was an apprentice actress with The New Jersey Shakespeare Festival and has appeared on the main stage opposite the likes of Emmy Award-winning actor Peter Dinklage (Game of Thrones).Shakespearian trained with a triple threat she has graced the stages in vast regional and local off Broadway productions on the east coast. Relocating to Los Angeles, Esther is a company member with Theatre of NOTE in Hollywood. As film actress she can be seen in a starring roles in the 3D horror film American Mummy, opposite Michael Madsen in Hired Gun and with Drea De Matteo in "Love,Rome" . Show less «
