Erika Takacs was born in Wellington, New Zealand on the 9th November 1977. From a very young age, she showed a natural talent for singing. During her teenage years, she sung in many productions and after high school she sung as a career. A New Zealand TV Show called Popstars (1999) held auditions for potential members of an all girl band, similar to the Spice Girls. Out of thousands of people who auditioned, Erika made it into the 5 member girl band, which was named TrueBliss. TrueBliss became very popular, mainly because of their televised TV show. When TrueBliss collapsed after 1 1/2 years, she was given the opportunity to become the host of New Zealand's hottest music show, RTR 2000 (2000). She hosted many shows until she was offered the job of the "Video Ezy Girl". She was given the offer to play a small role as a new recruit nurse in _Pearl Harbor(2001)_ , but she declined due to family matters. As her popularity increased even more, she became a member of the TV2 Family and was on Celebrity Treasure Island, similar to Survivor. 4 years after TrueBliss, she is the only member out of the five that has managed to stay in the media business.
