Born in Scottsdale, Arizona in 1986, Eric Weiss grew up moving from state to state throughout the southwest, but was raised mainly in Southern California where both parents pursued acting. Eric originally fought against the idea, wishing to pursue his visual art instead. A creative mind, Eric was less inclined toward academics, but excelled in English and Art in his school days. While living in Texas, Eric joined the dinner theatre show, Medieval Times. At the time, 20 years old and a former self-proclaimed "D&D nerd", he says he got into Medieval Times for the physicality, and challenges it offered. Throughout the five years in which Eric performed as a knight, he discovered a love for stunts and fight choreography. Of course being raised by thespians, performing came naturally. After Eric left Medieval Times, he wandered around different jobs trying to find a good fit. One day, just for fun, he signed up to be a zombie extra for a local short film. From there, people started to remember him for his positive attitude and easy going personality, and more and more projects came his way. Now he continues to experiment with all fighting forms and pursues knowledge through training and observation. His artistic skills have also helped him in his pursuit of stunt work, as he can both create and storyboard his own choreography. He has recently begun helping out on short films as not only an actor, but taking on the role of stunt choreographer, and advisor as well. Over the years, Eric has used personal drive and his creative imagination to get where he is today. Eric continues to pursue a career in acting and stunt work. Show less «
