Emily is a passionate, exciting and committed actor, who finds the truth of creativity as necessary as oxygen. Emily's acting repertoire includes; theatre, film, television series and commercials, and theatrical tour guiding.Emily's more recent achievements include landing a minor speaking role on the Australian Television drama series, 'Underbelly - Fat Tony and Co', and her role, as female lead in the horror short film, 'Origin', amongst further lead roles in various other short films.At 20, Emily was selected as one of 11 Australian actors to study in Los Angeles, California as part of the Hollywood Immersive acting program with Australian casting agent Lilly Dawson. While in LA Emily studied at Margie Haber's Studios, and was also tutored by and mingled with industry professionals such as Fern Champion, Eden Harman Bernardy, Tim Bagley, Margie Haber, and Ivy Isenberg.Emily has been employed full time as a professional actor by the Round Earth Company in both Australia's longest running play, 'The Ship that Never Was' and also as a theatrical tour guide on the historically rich penal settlement, Sarah Island.After studying extensively in Tasmania with Sara Cooper at Cooper Screen Academy, Emily moved from Hobart, to Melbourne in early 2013 after being selected to study at the prestigious 16th Street Actors Studio, in the part-time program. Upon moving, Emily secured representation with Katherine Banat at Central Melbourne Talent, and has continued to gain fruitful experience, knowledge and employment in the industry.
