Born on July 29th, Emily Ann Bauer was raised in suburban New Jersey, and was soon joined by siblings Melissa and Stephen. Growing up, Emily found a much-needed outlet for her energy in dance, acting, and singing classes at the local performing arts school. By the age of ten, Emily was performing in professional plays and musicals at the Paper Mill Playhouse, New Jersey's state theatre. With a little help from her incredibly supportive and never pushy parents, she secured an agent in New York and was auditioning regularly for films, television, and theatre. At the age of sixteen after taking a few years off from acting to be a "normal teenager" Emily once again pursued a career in the arts, this time knowing that she wanted to make it her career. After graduating from Miliburn High School, she went on to double major in Business and Theatre at the prestigious New York University. She graduated Cum Laude in 2002, and also received the Presidential Honors Scholar Award for maintaining one of the highest cumulative G.P.A.'s. Some of Emily's recent work includes "Mona Lisa Smile" with Julia Roberts and Disney's animated feature "Nausicaa", in which she stars, alongside Alison Lohman, Patrick Stewart, and Uma Thurman. Emily also just completed work the upcoming feature film "Long Distance" which co-stars Monica Keena.She can be seen and heard in dozens of radio and television ads. She is currently the spokesperson for American Eagle Outfitters, Kohl's Department Stores, and Truth, and has spots running for Hasbro Toys. Angel Soil, Carefree, Olive Garden, Goodyear, AT&T. Halls Cough Drops. Dairy Queen, and many more! When Emily isn't touring, she splits her time between New York City and Los Angeles. She is represented by Cunningham, Escott, and Dipene Talent Agency, inc.
