His 1st feature film: "Conozca la Cabeza de Juan Pérez" (a horror comedy about a lowlife Magician who steals a Cursed Guillotine) wins the Opera Prima Award and Best Actress Award at Guadalajara's Film Fest in 2008. In 2010 the film wins 4 Ariel Awards from the Mexican Film Academy including Best Supporting Actor, Wardrobe Design and Visual Effects. In 2011, his 2th film "Pastorela" a Christmas Horror-Comedy of Police Agents vs. Exorcists, opens at 2th Place at the Mexican Box Office, holding into the Top10 for 6 weeks with the winter blockbusters and remaining for 11 weeks overall with a million tickets sold. In 2012 the "Pastorela" wins 7 Mexican Academy Awards for Best Picture, Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best Supporting Actor, Wardrobe Design, Makeup Design and Visual Effects. His 3th film as director and screenwriter, a gun for hire, was a film parody about Mexican Cinema called "El Crimen del Cacaro Gumaro" the film was was the debut of one of the most beloved mexican comedians, Andrés Bustamante and the seventh-best opening weekend ever for a Mexican film. He's developing a Horror Film and a Mockumentary.
