Emilie began her career when she was 9, after being picked from hundreds of Cheltenham girls for her role in vanity Fair. She was favoured for her brown hair and blue eyes, and seemed to have a good enough acting ability to nod and wave at the same time; her gormless expression was also a real winner for the cast selection.Since the film, Emilie retired from filming, after realising that her acting ability would not take her to the heights of stardom that she so desired, and thus decided to enter the tough and grueling challenge of digging for fossils. She is a student at Exeter University, studying archaeology and anthropology. She most recently ventured across the pond to South Dakota to dig for indian artefacts and returned with a deep satisfaction that acting never fulfilled, feeling enlightened and knowledgeable. She hopes that in the future, she will be a top archaeologist and rival the likes of Howard Carter (who discovered Tutankhamun)."Dont ever stop digging. You never know whats just under your trowel."
