Elza Lezhdey was born on February 19, 1933 in Sevastopol, Crimean ASSR, Russian SFSR, USSR [now Crimea, Ukraine]. She was an actress, known for Sledstvie vedut znatoki (1971), La ballade du soldat (1959) and Poludennyy vor (1985). She was married to Vsevolod Safonov and Vladimir Naumov. She died on June 13, 2001 in Moscow, Russia.
