Obada was then signed as a free agent by Dallas (4/1/15), signed as a free agent by Kansas City (3/9/16), signed as a free agent by Atlanta (7/28/16) then joined the Carolina practice squad as a part of the International Player Pathway Program by NFL in May 2017 and spent the entire season on practice squad. Obada saw his first game action against Cincinnati during week 3 of the 2018 season. In this game he tallied an interception, sack and quarterback pressure.
