Edward Akrout was born in Paris in September 1982 to a Franco-British Mother and a Tunisian Father. He grew up in France and then lived in different countries, including Romania and throughout Latin America . After training in theatre at Le Cours Florent and studying philosophy at The Sorbonne in Paris he moved to London in his early twenties where he studied acting at LAMDA. Since graduating in 2008, Edward has worked regularly in theatre, film and television. He has worked everywhere from the West-End, to the BBC and HBO, along with many independent and Hollywood films. He is the grandson of Air Commodore Anthony Norman Davis, a British Royal Air Force officer who served as a pilot during the Second World War and was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross and the Distinguished Service Order
