Duncan Heath was raised in the artist's colony of Westport, Connecticut by parents of professional artistic accomplishments in television, theater, and music. A scholar-athlete in high school and college, his early pursuits spanned the social sciences, arts, humanities, competitive inter-collegiate wrestling; and military service. He earned a commission as an officer in the United States Army serving in Europe for four years. His service leadership experience prepared him for a career in the health-care industry where he led sales and marketing teams for over two decades. Duncan complemented his study of business administration with the study of acting at NYU, all the while finding a stage on which to practice the craft. With the digital age came opportunities to perform in award winning short films, commercials, and four feature films, two of which: Chauffeur, and On the Court, have won acclaim on Amazon Prime and HULU. On television Duncan has performed on the Investigation Discovery Channel and several other cable networks. A recent short film: If I Were President, in which Duncan played Donald Trump, was cited by the Huffington Post for originality. A follow-on film from the same performing team was recognized at the 2019 Independent Filmmakers Showcase in Los Angeles. Duncan has kept his acting skills stage-ready, performing in principal roles in Oscar Wilde's The Importance of Being Ernest, and, David Henry Huang's Yellowface, with the Beverly Hills Playhouse of San Francisco. His acumen as a sports photographer earned him two trips to the Olympics to photograph for the United States and the Peoples' Republic of China in Beijing and Vancouver, Duncan lives near San Francisco with his wife and daughter.
