Drew was born in 1961 in Vancouver, Canada. His father Lee Taylor acts and some of Drew's siblings and his mother sing and dance and play musical instruments. Drew was an honour roll student throughout grade school, chosen as an exchange student across Canada the same year he was voted President of the Student Council. He graduated honours math with a chemistry scholarship and was voted "Most likely to become Prime Minister".Looking to combine his technical ability with his artistic bent, he graduated with a degree in Filmmaking from SFU and has pursued acting and filmmaking ever since. He's also a skilled carpenter and has worked extensively designing and building sets for theatre and film.His more recent stage acting work includes Sydney in Deathtrap, Judge/Preacher in Rimers of Eldritch, and Paul in Farragut North.He has lived in Toronto, Ontario Canada with his wife and young son since August 2015.
