Douglas Dean is an English actor, who has been mostly based in Italy since 2003.He has a long list of theatre credits, and appeared in several independent films and student productions before making his television debut in an episode of HBO's 'Rome'. Since then he has racked up credits acting in English and Italian films and television series. Highlights include a leading role in Terry Gilliam's 'The Wholly Family', which won 'Best Short' at the 2011 European Film Awards and the lead role in Emiliano Galigani's 'The Imago', which captured 'Best Production' at the 2015 Manchester Film Festival.Dean is also in demand as a voiceover artist and has narrated a number of award-winning documentaries, commercials and videos.He has also taught drama at a prestigious international middle and high school, and worked as an acting coach and teacher at several leading Italian academies.
