Destini Renee Moody was born on May 5, 1991 in Evansville, Indiana. Raised by a low-income, single mother, Destini found an escape from tough times by watching films on her VHS player television. Thus, since childhood, she cultivated a dream of one day being an actress. In pursuit of this dream, she landed her first lead role as a newcomer in her high school play sophomore year as Defense Attorney Stevens in Night of January 16th. After studying film and theater for a brief time at Indiana University, Destini took a hiatus from theater to study nutritional sciences, before making her debut to film in Thundercock (2021).
