Derek Lacasa is a professional in all regards. He is excited to show up to work everyday and deliver his best. Lacasa was born and raised in the small town of Hollister California. At the early age of five he started riding bucking calves in the rodeo all the way to turning professional Bull Rider at the age of 18. Beating 4 world champions in one of his first competitions. Lacasa grew up around livestock and is use to working and handling wild animals that would be encountered on a ranch. Entering the film business as a stuntman who was also a senior in high school. Was hired to double Logan Lerman on the film "3:10 to Yuma" for the duration of the film. (The burning barn/all horseback riding etc.). Pursuing a career in the film business as a stuntman and taking acting roles as well. Lacasa has not pursued a career as an actor but whenever he is on set he gets volunteered by peers for positions of acting roles. Derek Lacasa alongside with his cousin Dylan Hice are some of the best western stuntmen in the business considering all the variety of the western stunts that they can perform. Show less «
