She also lived, studied and worked in Australia, the USA, Spain and the Netherlands until she moved to Chicago, Illinois, in 1998, where she still lives today. She has 10 years of international sales and promotion experience in the music and entertainment industry.Delphine loves the mountains (rock climbing, mono-skiing) and the seas (boating, water-skiing, wake-boarding, long distance swimming, triathlons). She is a scuba instructor, cave and technical diver, and ocean conservation advocate.Delphine Pontvieux was the recipient of the "2010 French in Chicago Community Award" Oscar in the category "Arts and Culture" and recently won the Indie Excellence Book Award 2011 in the Thriller category for her first novel, a political thriller titled ETA-Estimated Time of Arrest. She is writing the sequel, which is tentatively titled MIA-Missing In Actun.She is also a jewelry designer and founder of Nyet Jewelry, providing leather finery for discerning women and men. She was commissioned two years in a row (2013 and 2014) to design a piece of equestrian jewelry to be given as a gift to all the pro polo players participating in the Beach Polo World Cup in Miami Beach, Florida.
