Dee La Belle was born Dyan Hiemke in Freehold, N.J. She was the youngest of three. By age 9, while watching Sally Field's Norma Rae Oscar speech, she knew she wanted to become an actress.Dee was in numerous school plays and took some theatre classes in college. Out of fear of not making a living at it and having a burning desire to help people,she switched majors from Theatre and Dance to Social Work. Not knowing it then, but this is where she gained a lot of life knowledge to later put into her acting career.It was not until her mid to late 30's, that she got very serious and drove to Chicago from Milwaukee while studying at Second City.Met her husband in an acting seminar who nudged her to forget her day job and continue following her heart and chase down her dream of becoming an actress.
