Debra was born in north west London and now lives in the Chiltern area of Buckinghamshire. She is married with two daughters. In her youth she became involved in a local fringe theatre west of London. Here she learned all aspects of live performance and stage production. Since then she has enjoyed playing major characters in many plays and musicals at venues in London and the south east. Also during this time she followed her passion for music. Many hours were spent in recording studios laying down lead and backing vocals. Writing her own material was a natural progression; a pursuit she still enjoys. She discovered her love for filming whilst working as a supporting artist in 2009. By the end of 2011, through a combination of live performances and filming, she was ready to pursue her own acting career in films. Having now gained considerable experience working on many productions at major studios and on location, Debra's film credits include Beth in The Attachment (2016), winner of Best Horror Feature Film (DEFF 2016); the comedy role of Kandice Krane in Gazelle Vol. 2, a Web/TV series (2017); and the role of Meredith Jones in the film Dogged (2017) . Dogged has so far won a total of 3 awards, 2 for Best Horror Feature/Film (SSFF & Buffalo Dreams FFF 2017); and has received 12 nominations, including Debra as Best Actress.
