Debbi Domingo was a teenager when her mother, Cheri Domingo was killed along with her boyfriend, Gregory Sanchez by California's infamous "Golden State Killer." (July 27, 1981 in Goleta, CA) Debbi spent over 20 years in a miserable pit of cold case despair, before learning that her Mom & Greg's murders were part of the massive unsolved crime series. In the early 2000's she began a quest for the truth! Using social media and appearing as a guest on multiple investigative & documentary programs, Debbi helped publicize the case, hoping for an identification of the perpetrator. Using advances in DNA technology and Investigative Genetic Genealogy, investigators solved the Golden State Killer case on April 24, 2018, and apprehended a suspect who is awaiting trial on 26 felony charges.
