Dean Weir is an Northern Irish Actor currently living in High Wycombe England. During the last few years he has been working extensively at both Armagh College in Northern Ireland and Buckinghamshire University in High Wycombe successfully completing both an Extended National Diploma and a BA (Hons) in Acting..His extracurricular activities involved the strenuous work of manifesting the beginnings of his Acting Curriculum Vitae on Spotlight by working extensively in a range of Short Films capturing the lead role with his latest being 'Red Letter' (2016) a Masters Degree film in which he portrays Eddie, a lonely broken detective in a 1950s style drama. He has also journeyed across a number of professional productions acquiring prominent featured roles and sometimes with dialogue. His credits include 'Hollyoaks' (2014) in the 20th Anniversary Episode as Gay Activist Neptune, 'The Royals' Season 1 (2014) as a Featured Bodyguard to the leads, 'Game of Thrones' Season 4 (2012) as a featured Nobel Man and Kelsey Grammer's 'Breaking The Bank' (2016) as a banker with some dialogue. Dean's travels have also landed him on a number of Bollywood films including ADHM in which he was cast in a speaking role, College Professor.As an alumni Deans career has branched off into various contrasting directions acquiring prominent features in various commercials, music videos and films. Some of which include daily appearances in adverts such as 'Mcdonalds' and 'Sky Sports', The music videos of 'Sir Paul McCartney', 'Cheryl Cole', 'Union J' with his latest cast being in 'The 1975'. Last but certainly not least Dean was fortunate to be cast as the heavily featured Bank Guard in upcoming cinema release 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them' which is due for release in November 2016.Dean is a self driven person of strong ambition with a competitive edge and has dedicated his entire life to acting. Artlessly animating sheer enthusiasm and passion for the acting industry he willingly helped recruit some of the new faces for the upcoming season of 'Midsomer Murders' (2017). He plays a minor role in each of the episodes as a CID working in Barnaby's office. Dean has also captured the attention of the Bourne End Filming Club, (a local production company to where he lives) and has been cast in their latest film which will be shot later in the year.
