Dean J. Parker was born on February 22, 1971, in Holyoke, Massachusetts, and grew up in nearby West Springfield. He landed his first stage role at the age of ten, playing the title role in a New England production of the opera "Amahl and the Night Visitors." Throughout high school, he studied drama and music, and landed principal roles in musical theatre productions of "Anything Goes" and "Bye, Bye Birdie," among others. After high school, Dean moved to Orlando to start college, but dropped out to pursue an acting career. After landing bit roles on T.V. shows like "Superboy" and "Thunder In Paradise," Dean moved to Los Angeles, where he began working in commercials and films. He has most recently been seen in episodes of "Mistresses," "Bosch," and "This Is Us." In addition to acting, Dean directs theatre and writes contemporary fiction.
