An Ohio native, David Teitelbaum first gained notoriety by "crashing" the Academy Awards pretending to be a television journalist. His hysterical interviews with the nominees led to writing and starring in his own series on The Movie Channel for 3 years. He's written for his own pilot, "Nightprowlers" on CBS as well as for pilots on FOX and ABC. He also co-wrote and co-created a comedy CD, "The Harvey Shine Radio Hour," as well as the pilot episode of "Harvey Shine's Workshop." David has been a comedian and is a Comedy Store and Improv regular. He has appeared on "The Tonight Show", "Late Night with David Letterman", "The Today Show" and MTV. David is a graduate of CalArts. Most recently, he returned to his film school roots, moving behind the camera. He has produced multiple episodes of the Emmy-winning show, "Deadliest Catch," as well as "Bering Sea Gold" and "Storage Wars, New York." He is also a producer on Chelsea Handler's Netflix show, "Chelsea."
