South African born Australian actor/singer-songwriter David Lazarus had his first introduction to the acting scene at just 9 years old, where he played the child lead in the feature film Sumuru, directed by academy award nominee Darryl Roodt. Since then, David has gone on to do numerous projects. David played the lead role in Ronan's Escape, which has won a staggering 11 international film awards; most notably winning Best International Film at the Hollywood Shorts International Film Festival, held in Hollywood, California. He has also appeared on Australian National TV in the kid's TV series Wormwood (Disney Channel) and The Sleepover Club 2 (Nickelodeon). Combining his two talents, David has performed in several musicals, most renowned for playing The Artful Dodger in Oliver, alongside Troye Sivan at Australia's Regal Theatre.
