David Larzelere is the VP of Development at Matador Content and has been with the company since its founding in 2012. There he has a hand in developing all of Matador's shows and getting them to air, most recently "Lip Sync Battle" for Spike TV, for which he served as co-executive producer. Prior to working at Matador, David was a development exec and executive producer at Original Media, helping to develop many of Original's best-known shows, like "Swamp People," "Inkmaster," "Comic Book Men" and "Dual Survival." He also was the executive producer and writer of Spike's weekly MMA studio show, "MMA Uncensored" and the head writer of the ESPN studio show, "Classic Now." David is a graduate of Swarthmore College and throughout his career he's written extensively about sports, particularly boxing, both on television and in print at places like Slate, HBO, Showtime, the NBC Olympics and The Sporting News.
