Born the 11th of June in Palmerston North, New Zealand, David started performing on stage at an early age. At 18, David studied in the field of sports science and as a result, moved to Auckland to become a top trainer and compete in one of New Zealand's top athletic clubs. In 2001 David was approached by producers to participate in a reality show based on the lives of 6 ordinary guys. Screentime Communicado and TV2s Stripsearch The show gained instant success in New Zealand and catapulted the guys involved into the media. In 2002, David was offered a contract to move to the United States and work in Los Angeles While performing, he received a phone call to audition for a NBC pilot that later became Jake in Progress, cast by Jeff Greenberg. Having been on such shows as NBC's Las Vegas, NBC's Ellen, ABC's The View David just appeared in "Alexander and the terrible horrible no good very bad day" Starring Steve Carell and Jennifer Garner.
