David grew up in and around Grantham, a small market town in Lincolnshire, England, located about 100 miles outside of London. As a young boy, David's mother taught piano and singing lessons, and his father was an officer trainer in the Royal Air Force. David began performing at the age of 5, and learned piano at age 8. He was a very imaginative child who would play in the fields and woods near his home building forts while pretending he was in different worlds.David first performed on-stage at age 14 in a school production of Godspell. He continued performing throughout his high school career. He also took up trumpet and throughout high school also learned how to play drums and guitar. He was involved in multiple bands and orchestras both in and after school hours and toured all over Europe with them. David enjoyed keeping himself very busy with extracurricular athletic activities, getting involved in the soccer team, rugby team, water polo, tae kwon do, tennis, and weightlifting. He also enjoyed reading and computer gaming, and participating in the orchestra, band, jazz combo, choir and theatre. David even joined the CCF (Combined Cadet Forces) in the Air Force section where he learned how to shoot and fly a small plane. David was popular, a class clown, and earned good grades consistently throughout high school.Following graduation, David continued acting and was involved in several independent short films in England. In August 2011, he moved to Corona, California, to train with The Young Americans, a non-profit professional performance group. There he received a year's training in acting, music, dance, performance and teaching methods and went on to complete two International Music Outreach Tours -- one three-month tour of Europe and a two-month tour of Asia -- with the group. After completing his time with The Young Americans in early 2013, David moved to Los Angeles to pursue a professional career in acting. Shortly after arriving, he enrolled at Theatre of Arts, an acting conservatory in Hollywood, where he established invaluable connections with BAFTA, and graduated with an Associate's degree in acting. After graduation, David began performing with a prolific theatre group, Theatre Unleashed. After appearing in their annual one-act play festival, he was offered a permanent position in their company. He began working regularly, first booking a lead role in a short film, a recurring role in a web series, as well as a role in his debut feature film "Couch Survivor," which began running on the festival circuit. David continues to actively cultivate his career while establishing a name within the Los Angeles acting and filmmaking communities.
