David Plascencia was born in Tijuana, Mexico and immigrated to the United States at the age of 7 where he met and lived with his father, an aerospace engineer, in Sylmar, CA. At a very young age he discovered his passion for acting and often lived in his imagination to escape the sadness of being apart from his mother and being forced to live with strangers. He received rigorous training in etiquette and work ethic. He credits his achievements to his strict fathers hardcore discipline for instilling a drive to succeed by never giving up. Being pushed to the limit has been the key blessing to his successful endeavors. In 2012, he gathered the necessary courage to pursue his acting dream and started taking private acting classes learning method acting techniques from his coach Jill Place(a student of Uta Hagen and Lee Strasberg). David has been blessed to meet and work with legend "Ernest L. Thomas" of the 70s and 80's hit television show "What's Happening", a show that brought him joy during the sad times of his childhood. Meeting many of the right people has opened up doors way beyond his expectations. David wants people to know that tragedy and adversity can be overcome with Love, Forgiveness and the Spirit of Hope.
