Born in Oklahoma, Darrett grew up playing sports and started doing theatre in high school. He got his B.F.A in Acting at the College of Santa Fe. After college he moved to Chicago where he was an intern at Steppenwolf Theatre. After doing theatre in Seattle, Denver, Santa Fe and South Carolina he moved to Los Angeles. He has worked on various small L.A. stages and is a member of Theatre of NOTE and Echo Theater. Darrett is a self-taught filmmaker and his first feature, Scream Of The Bikini went on to win various awards at smaller festivals across the country. He acted as producer, actor, editor and D.P. on the film. Kill Me, Deadly is his feature length directorial debut. His is a member of the Directors Guild of America. Show less «
