Darcy Grey was born in London, England, to parents Colette Bristow and John O'Connell. His father is of Irish descent and his mother is of English, Scottish and Australian descent. Darcy grew up in the Balearic Island of Ibiza with his Step-Father Antonio Checa, before moving back to England at age 12 where he attended boarding school at Wymondham College in Norfolk and began studying acting, appearing in plays such as Oliver Twist, Waiting for Godot and We Will Rock You.Looking to develop his career, Darcy moved to Chicago, Illinois where he attended the Second City School of Acting, training under Michael Pieper and Derek Brummet. He appeared in his first feature length film in 2015 as the leading role in 'Glorious' set for release in 2016, from award winning Director Juan Daniel Zavaleta, (Winner at the Chicago Latin Film festival). He also appeared in Tre Manchester, The Things We've Seen (2017), as the down on his luck 'Deputy Embry' starring alongside Randy Ryan, (Public Enemies). He also landed the leading role in a highly ambitious independent feature length film, What Happened in Danville, set to be released on Netflix and other VOD channels in 2016.In 2016, Darcy moved to Los Angeles, where he currently lives and works, signing with Deborah Graci, at the Talent Hunters Agency.
