Darby Bailey is an American voice over artist, musician, actress and writer. She is originally from Salt Lake City, Utah, and spent many years in Santa Cruz, California before deciding to divide her time between her hometown and Los Angeles.Darby's voice is heard by millions of people every day. The Silicon Valley company, Tellme Networks, Inc. modeled Darbot, their speech recognition system, on her voice. Sold to Microsoft in 2007, her voice then became part of many other automated voice response systems, including Ford Sync, inside Ford vehicles.
