Daniel Spink is an American film and television actor that began his acting career in typical fashion: performing in school productions and community theater. He was born in Philaldelphia, PA, and was raised by Marsh Spink, a Philadelphia Realtor and Helyn Spink, a retired elementary school teacher, in the nearby suburbs of Abington, PA. It was at The William Penn Charter School (founded in 1689 by William Penn in Philadelphia) where he lettered in soccer, lacrosse, and swimming. Daniel was ranked as the top goalie in the Inter-Academic League of Philadelphia his senior year. His first lead role came in the 10th grade in a play written by schoolmate Adam Goldberg, creator of television's The Goldbergs (2013-). Daniel earned his bachelor of arts and bachelor of science degrees at Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, graduating in 2000. It was at Bucknell that Daniel really found his passion for acting, starring in university productions of "The Ferriswheel", "Snakebit", "Spittin' Image", "Private Wars", and as Simon Gascoyne in Tom Stoppard's "The Real Inspector Hound". It was during the summers of college that Daniel first spent time in Los Angeles, CA, interning with casting directors Sheila Jaffe and Mary Vernieu to learn about the casting process behind the camera. Daniel began his professional career in acting as "Guy With Monkey" in the smash hit comedy American Pie (1999), reprising the role throughout the American Pie franchise. To date, Daniel has appeared in successful television shows including a stint on ER (1994) as psychopath Tyler Pollard, and in numerous big budget studio films including The Butterfly Effect (2004) and most recently Before We Go (2015), starring opposite close friend, Chris Evans. He's also responsible for a number of viral comedy videos online including Don't Hassel The Hoff (video 2009) and The Carlton Dance (video 2012). Daniel has two older brothers that are also in the entertainment business.
