Daniel Lee Perea is an award-winning musician, award-winning director, actor, writer, journalist, web personality and semi-pro gamer. He has participated in numerous musical projects including Dr. Daniel & The Rockabilly Vampires, Astrocasket, and solo endeavors. In the US, he is often referred to by the nickname "El Bebop Kid" - a moniker originally used by Baldemar Huerta in the late 50s.Daniel grew up partially on a farm outside Cleveland Ohio, arguably the birthplace of being immersed in bluegrass music by his family. At a young age, Perea moved to rural Alabama just south of Muscle Shoals.
