Daniel John Sobczak was born in Hamilton, Ontario at the McMaster Children's Hospital on November 8, 1990. He attended public schools, beginning at age 3, in Dundas, Ontario. His childhood was never a dull moment as he was an extremely busy kid. Athletics were always a big part of his life as he participated in competitive ice hockey, tennis, lacrosse, swimming, cross country running, triathlons and basketball during his youth. Daniel also provided lots of musical excitement for his family, he learned to play the piano, trombone and accordion. As a university student he attended McMaster University to complete a bachelor of science degree in kinesiology and masters of science degree in physiotherapy.At McMaster University Daniel was a two sport varsity athlete as a member of the cross country and tennis team. He was named a Marauder Scholar for each year he competed as a varsity athlete for his academic and athletic excellence. Daniel also graduated from the bachelor of kinesiology program with distinction based on his academic achievements and yearly placement on the Dean's Honor List.Daniel's work history is quite extensive and dates back to his job delivering the local newspaper at the ripe age of 11. Since this job he's worked as a groundskeeper, maintenance worker, truck cleaner, lifeguard, swim instructor, recreational therapist, personal trainer, kinesiologist, and physiotherapist. Daniel has also generously volunteered his time to serve Christmas dinners to less fortunate families and individuals in Hamilton, Ontario through an event put on by the Good Sheppard each year.Since 2016, Daniel has worked as a registered physiotherapist in mental health care facilities, stroke rehabilitation programs, and private orthopedic practices. It was only in the winter of 2020 that Daniel discovered his passion for acting. In a relatively short amount of time he has landed acting and principal roles in short films, tv shows, music videos and commercials.Daniel is excited to continue developing new skills and participating in exciting opportunities as an actor.
