Dana Puddicombe is an Actress, Writer and Improvisor originally from Roaches Line, a small town in Newfoundland.After graduation from the BFA (Theatre) Program at Grenfell College of Memorial University of Newfoundland, Dana worked with The Gros Morne Theatre Festival, c2c, RCAT at the LSPU Hall and Jack 5-Oh! before moving to Toronto in 2006. She has appeared on television, radio, and web series, as well as live event hosting and performing her own comedy. Dana collaborated with her university roommate Lindy Zucker and Regan Latimer on B.J. Fletcher: Private Eye for three seasons, one of the first successful web series comedies for an LGBT audience with over 12.5 million views.Dana has worked extensively with acclaimed Playwright and Director George F. Walker (originating roles in The Ravine [2013], Parents Night [2014] and The Bigger Issue [2015]), igniting a strong relationship with friends Sarah Murphy-Dyson and Wes Berger, who often produce Walkers work with their independent company, CrazyLady Productions. Dana was a writer/ performer of Chasse Galerie, produced by The Red One Collective for Storefront Theatre in 2015, garnering a 2016 Dora Mavor Moore Award for Best Independent Ensemble and the 2016 Toronto Theatre Critics Circle Award for Best New Musical to Red One Theatre Collective. She is a student of both Second City Conservatory Programs and The Second City Longform Ensemble with group Abra Cadaver.
